It is with profound sadness that the family of William Joseph Vital Poitras announce his sudden passing on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan at the age of 35 years.

William is forever loved and remembered by his Son Kieran Poitras; Mother Angela Poitras; Siblings Richard “Tyrone” Poitras, Grant Poitras (Cherity), Peter Poitras (Shannon), and Micheal Poitras; Special Nephew Harlen Poitras; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

William is predeceased by his Father Richard Poitras; Paternal Grandparents Vital and Margaret Poitras; Maternal Grandparents Harvey and Jeanne Gervais; Godparents Alice Villeneuve and Dennis Derocher; 1 Aunt; 2 Uncle; Nephew Joseph Poitras; Special Cousin Megan Blayne Villeneuve.

The Wake will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Flying Dust Gymnasium, Saskatchewan.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Flying Dust Gymnasium, Saskatchewan.
