With heavy hearts, our family announces the passing of beloved sister and brother, Sunshine Ermine and Tyrone Boyd Hyman, who left this world only ten days apart.

Sunshine passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 42, and on August 20, 2026, Tyrone followed his sister home at the age of 36. As our family gathers to honour them together, we remember two lives, two journeys, and two people who will forever hold a place in the hearts of those who loved them.

Sunshine was born on November 3, 1983, to Elaine Louise Hyman and Daniel Glen Ermine. She was a beloved daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, relative, and friend who was part of a large and loving family.

Sunshine leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Jesse James Keenatch, Tracey Hyman, Jody Hyman, Jamie Ochipwao, and Danielle Ermine; uncle Richard Keenatch; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Sunshine was predeceased by her parents, Elaine Louise Hyman and Daniel Glen Ermine; her grandparents, Steven Ochipwao and Cecile Keenatch; along with other beloved relatives who went home before her. Only ten days after Sunshine made her journey home, her younger brother Tyrone followed.

Sunshine’s Wake will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the at the Chief James Okanee Memorial Centre, Thunderchild First Nation, Saskatchewan.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the at the Chief James Okanee Memorial Centre, Thunderchild First Nation, Saskatchewan.
