It is with sadness the family of Jordan Tyler Belly announce his sudden passing on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan at the age of 36 years.
Born on a cold January day, Jordan was a special boy when he first entered this world. He brought joy and fulfilment for George and Gail. As he grew older, Jordan was a man who was as genuine as they come—kind, humorous, and always true to himself. His presence filled every space with warmth and laughter, and his absence will leave a big void in our hearts and lives. He had a deep passion for the outdoors, where he felt most at home, working with his hands on the land, embracing nature, and respecting the traditions and protocols of First Nation culture. He lived with purpose, always connected to the earth and to the wisdom of those who came before him. He met the love of his life Cherraine on April 7th, 2017. Jordan and Cherraine created a lot of memories together such as travelling, gaming and so on. He had a great amount of respect for the Moosepayo/Harper family, whom they just loved and adored Jordan as well. Although he didn’t have kids of his own at the time, he took Julie as one of his own. Him and Julie created a lot of fond memories together such as building a computer from scratch. One of his many proudest moments in life were the birth of his children, Zatanna and Kal-El. who brought him immeasurable joy. His Baby Z is a spitting image of him and had her daddy wrapped around her finger. Baby Kal-El is his Superman and will carry on the Belly name for his dad. Jordan also had a passion for cars—nothing made his eyes light up quite like finding and restoring a classic. But beyond all his passions and accomplishments, what made him truly special, was that he was the tech guy of the family—the one who always seemed to know how to fix anything, the one we all turned to when we needed help. He was incredibly smart, and no matter what, he was always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge, and make things easier for everyone around him. Though he is no longer with us, his kindness, humor, and wisdom will live on in the stories we share and the memories we hold close. We will miss him every day, but we will also carry his spirit with us—when we hear the engine of a muscle car, when we feel the earth beneath our feet, and when we smile at the thought of his laughter.
Jordan is forever loved and remembered by his Fiancé Cherraine Moosepayo; Children Julie Moosepayo, Zatanna and Kal-el Belly; Parents Gail & George Dillon; Siblings Jocelyn, Jessica (Chester), Stephanie (DeRay), Aaron (Niomie) Shelly, Lyndon, Patricia (Lenny), Kyle (Kristen), and Chris, Blaine (Tenneille); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
