Henrietta Dillon

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Henrietta Dillon on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 56 years.

Henrietta Dillon loved her family so much. She was a wonderful Mother, Kokum, Sister, Aunty, Friend and like she always used to say “Bro”.

She enjoyed puzzles, bingo, berry picking, decorating, cooking, baking and traveling to visit family, and especially dots (listening to 80’s). Her favorite foods were Indian popcorn, and neckbones. She would travel all the way to Onion Lake just to get them. She used to steal paper during her dialysis appointments and eat it like gum.

She loved her children very much. She enjoyed all her grandchildren, and she got the chance to raise her granddaughter Zavannah Belly.

Henrietta Dillon lived her life to the fullest. She loved God so much and loved listening to the Lord’s music and his word. One of her favorite sayings was “don’t worry about the future, it hasn’t happened yet. Forget about the past, it’s gone. Live in the present because it is a gift.”

Henrietta will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

A wake will start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2025, at the Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, Saskatchewan.
