On Thursday, May 1, 2025, Darlene Tootoosis passed away in the Battlefords Union Hospital, Saskatchewan at the age of 59 years.

Darlene is forever loved and remembered by her Loving Husband of 44 years Paul Tootoosis; Children Andrew (Erica), Rayleen (Denny), Jamie (Denielle), and Lester (Shaelynn); Grandchildren Ethan, Seirra, Lesane, Rhianne, Kaylea, Addilynn, Dakota “Joe”, Trinity, Tierra, Tia, Talon, Tahlia, Jadee, Amie, Shaelynn “Mavis”, Jeremiah, Deveron, Marcus, Andyn, Camdyn, and Ella; Great-Grandchildren Nehlani, Atticus “Gus-Gus”, and Nurae; Siblings Romeo (Linda), Floyd (Ellen), Doreen, Darren (Evelyn), and Darryl (Rhonda); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by her Granddaughter Serenity; Grandson Baby Button; Parents Norman and Priscilla Dillon.

A wake will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Onion Lake Communiplex.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Onion Lake Communiplex.
