Albert Mooswa

It is with sadness the family of Albert Mooswa announce his passing on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation at the age of 79 years.

Albert is forever loved and remembered by his Loving Wife Edna Mooswa; Children Beverly (Dewey) Chief, Esme Brown (Melvin Defraine), Glenda Scarlett, Albertine Chief, Arnold (Lana) Mitsuing, Angeline Mitsuing, Denny Mooswa (Rhonda Netmaker); Adopted Daughter Tanya (Oliver) Mooswa;48 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter;
Sisters Cecile Mooswa, Gloria Mooswa, and Lillian (Arnold) Frenchman; Brother Robert Mooswa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, adopted and extended family.

Albert is predeceased by his Daughters Serena Mitsuing and Kori Gervais; Grandchildren Tiffany Checkosis, Hurley and Isaiah Mitsuing, and Nevada Bearboy; Parents Mary and Johnny Mooswa; Siblings Mary Rose Mooswa, Alex Mooswa, Thomas Mooswa, Leo Gilbert Mooswa, Josephine Mooswa, Alice Mooswa, and Jeanna Mooswa.

A Wake will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Memorial Centre, Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.
