It is with great sorrow the family of Aiden Cantre announce his passing on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the age of 20 years at Loon Lake, Saskatchewan

Aiden Andrew Joseph Cantre (20) lived a vibrant life. He loved to dance and make people laugh. Aiden always had a bright friendly smile on his face when you’d approach him and sometimes, he would do his “model walk” just to make people laugh. Aiden was the baby of the family and the only one who had many ‘girlfriends’. Baby Aiden was two-spirited. Aiden is the son of Roxanne Cantre and late Darryl Mitsuing. Loved from all who knew him.

Aiden will forever be missed and loved by his Mother Roxanne Cantre; Siblings Cherokee Cantre, River Cantre, Breanne Cantre, Denyne Cantre (Iris), Erin Mitsuing, and Mallekai Mitsuing (Zelma); and Grandparent: Sidney Ben.

Aiden is predeceased by his Father Darryl Mitsuing; Brothers and Sister Dillon Cantre, Deshawna Mitsuing and Thunder Cantre; Grandparents Linda Cantell, Sylvia Cantell, and Bernadine Cantell; Great-grandparents: Philomene Cantell and Joe Monias; Paternal grandparents: Eliza Whitstone & Morris Okimow; and Great grandparents: Madeline Okimow & Jules Okimow (Steven Whitford).

A wake will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Hall, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Saskatchewan.

The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Hall, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Saskatchewan.
