Both suspects have now been located in the case of an alleged kidnapping and assault on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation.
Police had been looking for Marina Henderson and the vehicle registered to her after both disappeared from the Montreal Lake Cree Nation early Monday morning.
Henderson has been located and now two people have been charged. Earlier this week, Waskesiu Lake RCMP located 26-year-old Shantel Laureen Mike of Beardy's and Okemasis, and now they have located and arrested 30-year-old Kevin Brian Henderson of Prince Albert.
Police were called to the Montreal Lake Medical Clinic shortly after 5 am to investigate an assault that occurred Monday morning. The vehicle the assault occurred in had departed from the scene before police were able to attend.
As a result of the investigation, Henderson and Mike are now facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, robbery, and two counts of stealing a motor vehicle.
