Olympics 2014: Canada Claims 6 of 9 Freestyle Skiing Medals

Nineteen-year-old Dara Howell won Canada's fourth gold medal Tuesday morning in the ladies' ski slopestyle event.
Teammate Kim Lamarre won the bronze medal, bringing Canada's total medal count now to nine.
Another Canada, Yuki Tsubota, had a hard crash during her run and had to be stretchered off with what appears to be a jaw injury.
Upon winning her medal, Howell said she wanted to do it for the late Sarah Burke, a teammate and freestyle skiier who died two years ago while training.
"She was such an inspiration to me and everyone else in free skiing that I just think that she would be so proud and happy. It's truly an honour."
Howell and Lamarre's medals made Canadian history, as this is the first time ski slopestyle has been at the Olympic Winter games. Canada has now won six of nine possible medals in freestyle skiing to this point.
