She practised with her team every other week on Sundays for four hours against adults to prepare herself for the games. This is her first trip to Canada and so far she's likes it here. She's looking forward to having a great experience at NAIG.
"I'm looking forward to meet other people from NAIG my age from all over other Indigenous people."
She excited to be participating in the games and so far has met many people from everywhere.
She hopes to work in Human Services after she completes high school because she likes working with people and helping them.
Her biggest inspiration to achieve further comes from her life giver.
"My mom is my biggest inspiration because always pushes me to do my best."
Her advice to the youth who want to work hard to play their favourite sports in NAIG is to keep playing what you're good at.
