The Chief Executive Officer of the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) is being investigated on allegations of harassment.
The Board of Directors for NAIG confirms complaints of harassment against Glen Pratt were filed with the board's human resources committee earlier this month.
In a statement, the board says it "acknowledges the seriousness of the complaints and wants to assure its partners, funders, stakeholders, staff and the public that the matter is being thoroughly investigated by an independent firm that specializes in human resource related matters."
News of the investigation comes just days after NAIG announced it received a huge financial boost in corporate funding from the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority.
Until that investigation is completed and the board has deliberated the report, Pratt is on leave with pay pending the outcome of the investigation.
Pratt is a former Vice-Chief of the FSIN and a former Chief of Gordon's First Nation.News of the investigation comes just days after N
