Finalists for football championship meet this weekend

The finalists for the championship game in Northern Saskatchewan Football has been determined.
In the Eastern Division, the hometown Creighton Kodiaks, powered by three touchdowns and six kicking converts by Evan Linnick, defeated the visiting Cumberland House Islanders by a score of 59-24. In the Western Division, Johnny Tinker scored six touchdowns to lead the hometown Pinehouse Lakers to a 65-13 victory over the Green Lake Spirit.
On Saturday, November 1 at the Max Clunie Field in Prince Albert, the Creighton Kodiaks will be playing the Pinehouse Lakers for The Ralph Pilz Trophy to determine the championship for Northern Saskatchewan Football. The Pinehouse Lakers are defending champions and are hoping to repeat. With both teams having an unbeaten 4-0 record in the regular season, this game promises to be a phenomenal sporting event. A large number of fans are anticipated for the game which will have a pregame ceremony at 1:15 pm and the kickoff at 1:30.
