It is with sadness the family announces the passing of their Loving Mother, Marjorie Monique Waskewitch, on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in the Lloydminster Hospital, at the age of 78 years.

Marjorie is forever loved and remembered by her Children Garry (Nellie) Waskewitch, Myrna Waskewitch, Maxine Waskewitch (Charles Rabbitskin), Gus (Sharon) Waskewitch, and Monica Waskewitch; Numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Sisters Helen John, and Rose Watchmaker; Adopted Brother Dennis Carter; Siblings-in-law Irene Whitstone, Kenneth (Mary) Waskewitch, Verna (Don) Waskewitch, Roland (Linda) Waskewitch, Henry (Sharon) Waskewitch, Lorna Waskewitch, Janet Waskewitch, Noel Waskewitch, Irvin Waskewitch, and Brian Waskewitch; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Marjorie is predeceased by her First Husband Albert Waskewitch; Second Husband Austin Mountain; Children Glynn Waskewitch, and Beverly Waskewitch; Siblings Edna (Ivan) MacDonald, Madeline (Alex) Quinney, Linda (Peter) Chief, JB Whitstone, Elmer Whitstone, Charlie Whitstone, Henry “Spike” Whitstone, Raymond Whitstone, and Joseph Whitstone; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The Wake will begin at 10:30 a.m. MST on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the New Round Hall, Onion Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. MST on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the New Round Hall, Onion Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.
