Grandma Gordon’s Meatballs

Meatballs

1 package of hamburger

2 eggs

1 onion finely chopped (optional)…can also use dried onion flakes

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

Mix together and form balls a little smaller than golf balls.  Broil until almost cooked.  They will finish cooking in the sauce.

Sauce

6 Tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp dry mustard (or squeeze in a tsp regular mustard)

1/2 tsp onion powder

2 Tbsp onion powder

1/4 tsp ginger

3 Tbsp ketchup

1 c water

2 tsp soy sauce (or more…)

1/4 c vinegar

398 ml/14 oz can of crushed pineapple

Put everything in a pot and cook until the stove until boiling.  Add in meatballs, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
