- Saskatoon
Join five First Nation and Métis Entrepreneurs – The Empower Members, as they get ready to launch their businesses at IDEAS INC. at 120 Sonnenschein Way in Saskatoon during the Farmers Market on August 8, 2015 at 10 a.m.
On Saturday, August 8, 2015 we will be launching Grassroots Rapid Opportunities Website, G.R.O.W. Through this website First Nations, Métis and Inuit people throughout Canada will be able to click on their home communities and build free interactive internet profiles. G.R.O.W is ideal for the self-employed and small business operators such as caterers, chefs & bakers, musicians, bead & craft artisans, motivational speakers, models, consultants or any person in that community who would wish to promote their profiles on an international scale. People all over the world will soon be able to click into any First Nations, Métis and Inuit region in Canada and see all the profiles that are made.
Award winning web designer Danger Dynamite is creating G.R.O.W to align the website with founder Racheal Eyahpaise’s vision of a central hub for all aspiring First Nations, Métis and Inuit entrepreneurs. We are now entering the second phase of website development: the building, navigation and soft launch. Our soft launch is scheduled to occur within in the next few months. G.R.O.W is presently seeking corporate and private sponsorship to provide this free service. We have several people who are excited to promote their businesses on our website and they are carefully following our progress as we get ready to show the world what we can do. First Nation, Métis and Inuit business operators are the fasting growing sector in Canada therefore a website like G.R.O.W. is vital.
We invite the public to come down to meet our amazing team of entrepreneurs and find out about our various businesses. We will be serving First Nation and Metis inspired refreshments for our guests.
